To the best of my knowledge, there was no formal standard or certification for Wi-Fi 7 as of this writing (24-March-23). Wi-Fi 6, also known as 802.11ax, was the most recent Wi-Fi technological standard at this time.

Wi-Fi 6 introduced considerable speed, capacity, and efficiency enhancements over the previous Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard. It introduced technology like as MU-MIMO (multi-user multiple input/output), OFDMA (orthogonal frequency-division multiple access), and BSS (basic service set) coloring, which enhanced network efficiency and enabled more simultaneous connections.

However, it is possible that a new Wi-Fi standard (e.g. Wi-Fi 7) with more performance, security, and other capabilities will be created and released in the future.
